The Whangarei Sculpture Symposium, which is a biennial event with artists from throughout the country and the world working onsite for 10 days to create sculptures from wood and stone.
The Northland Youth Summit – the current project entails a series of workshops held throughout the region culminating in a two-day summit in September 2017 based in Dargaville.

Projects we are supporting
We have been fortunate to support the Camera Obscura Project with their funding and are looking forward to seeing it in place on the Loop Walk, Hatea River in Whangarei in the near future.
Creative Northland were excited to support the Whangarei District Council and Ngati Hau to bring you the Matariki Whanau Festival on Saturday the of 17th June at the Canopy Bridge in the Town Basin, Whangarei.
