ArtBeat is Whangarei’s biggest FREE Interactive Arts Festival open to the whole community in Northland. For 2018 ArtBeat was held on Saturday 3 February 10am-4pm, once again in the beautiful Cafler Park in Whangarei. Where else can you bring your children and let them loose to experiment with all mediums of art all for FREE! Not only was there the chance to let your creative juices flow and entertain your kids for hours in the Resene Interactive Zone, we also had some of Northland’s top talent joining us on the Printing.com Main Stage which will be running throughout the day, as well as various art and food stalls staggered within the park. Don’t forget to bring your kids to the Plus Chartered Accountants Fairy Grotto for face painting, scheduled treasure hunts and puppet showing by Kylie Penn. Bring a picnic & blanket, relax under the stunning trees and listen to MC BIRDMAN, Luke Bird for some FLOCKING FLAPULOUS BIRD entertainment. Join the community for this annual event that has attracted over 8,000 people each year.
