This news update is to inform you of a grant scheme for the arts that is now open for applications from Creative Communities.
The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) helps to fund local arts projects. This fund is aimed at local communities to create and present diverse opportunities for people to access and participate in the arts. All forms of creative and interpretive expression are eligible. Projects could be workshops, festivals, performances, exhibitions, or product development.
Whangarei District Council administers this fund locally for Creative New Zealand.
They’re also looking for new grants assessors – see www.wdc.govt.nz/ccs.
Round 1 of the 2018-19 year closes 27 August 2018.
